Conley’s Photography began as a part time business in 1987 when I was learning photography as a writer and news photography for the Blackstone Courier R
ecord. After I bought my first professional Nikon camera I began to learn and shoot weddings to pay for it, and, thankfully, I haven’t stopped learning since.
While I’m not an art photography who sits up in the mountains to get that just right picture of the rising sun, my passion is catching moments of presence and joy in people’s faces when they are not posing.
I am a hunter of fleeting moments, especially at weddings where I’ll hover at the bride’s elbow capturing every friend and loved one as they open their hearts in love.
These moments are my prey, and once in the environment where they are happening, I am relentless and focused. You never know when a moment of joy will break from the herd and dance its unforgettable display.
